KILN HOUSE GALLERY

I am Curator of the Kiln House Gallery and its resident artist. I have provided this continuity for well over 4 years now, by giving a face to the gallery, working closely with artists, both mentoring and encouraging and working with schools/colleges. My particular strength is in finding artists who are possibly too scared to approach a gallery and have therefore never had an exhibition. I help them through the process and give them the confidence to move forwards with their Art. The most important role I have as curator is staying relevant to the community and keeping a strong dialogue and channel of communication with artists of all levels. It also gives me an ideal platform to meet and greet and to share Art with everyone. Unfortunately, the gallery receives no financial support, but I still manage to provide and be responsible for all the basics of marketing, publicity etc.
